Hello 11|28 Prayer Partners!
Happy May 28th! Thank you for praying with us and for us on the 28th day and throughout the month. We really are so thankful for each of you.
Some things we are thankful for:
— Extra time with family (a weekend in Iowa with Mike’s family, and an upcoming weekend with Colleen’s sister)
— Our team visited Lakeland Community Church (a financial partner) in Lake Geneva.
— We had an outdoor cookout with 38 people in attendance!
— Twelve donations were made in the last month through the new 11|28 giving page!
— Another eleven recurring donations were made through Lakepoint Church. (thank you to our friends and family that continue to generously support our residency year!)
— Last month we asked you to pray for John and Kristin’s house search. Three days later they found the house, 2 days after that had an accepted offer (crazy in this market), closed earlier this week, and today (May 28th) they are moving in! How awesome to see God answer this prayer so quickly!
Specific things to be praying for:
— For Colleen to find a new job this summer. One that values her and compensates her fairly. Her current virtual teaching job is stressful, includes lots of extra hours, and the pay does not reflect her experience or education.
— We haven’t gotten any further in our space search, please pray that God brings us to the right opportunity..
— While we’ve met the 2021 external fundraising goal, we’re still $110,000 short of hitting our 2022-2023 external goal. Pray that new commitments or one time gifts would eliminate that remaining need.
— That our launch team would be bold, confident, and welcoming as they invite and meet new friends that might become launch team members.
