Hello 11|28 Prayer Partners!

Happy July 28th! Thank you for praying with us and for us on the 28th day and throughout the month. We really are so thankful for each of you.

Some things we are thankful for:
— We participated in the Oak Creek 4th of July parade and handed out 3,040 bottles of water! We ran out on the last turn of the route and figure we need another 1,500 for next year. The organizers estimate around 12,000 people enjoyed the parade, and we are thankful for the chance to participate.

— We gathered in a local park three Sundays in July. We had an average of 46 people over those 3 gatherings and made several new connections. We had at least one new person per week in the park!

— July 31st marks the end of our Residency year at Lakepoint Church. We are so thankful for our time with them. Over the last year, Lakepoint has allowed us to grow, heal, and craft our own sense of identity as we prepare to be launched. Lakepoint has donated a 20 foot trailer, gear cases, and audio equipment. Beyond those donations, Lakepoint has committed $35,000 to be given in chunks between 2020-2023. We’re thankful for this partnership and look forward to launching more churches together in the future.

Specific things to be praying for:
— We are coming down to the wire on a space to launch out of in October. Please pray specifically for the Oak Creek Community Center to work out. We’ve met several times with the Director and Business Manager and believe that God is at work in these talks.

— That we would maintain and build on the momentum and excitement we discovered in July.

— Pray for our Party in the Bleachers (8/15) and Sunday Morning Brunch (8/29) events. These two free events in August are easy ways for us to meet new people. We’re praying that our launch community would grow to 75 out of these parties.

— Pray for our serve opportunity on August 21st at the Oak Creek Popup Biergarten. We’ll be hanging out, serving beers, and keeping tables cleaned. It’s an awesome chance to be a part of our community and make new connections. We also still need 4 more volunteers to help with this.

Thank you again for praying with us and for us!
