Hello 11|28 Prayer Partners!
Happy September 28th! Thank you for praying with us and for us on the 28th day and throughout the month. We really are so thankful for each of you.
Some things we are thankful for:
- We had a great Sunday Brunch event with 67 people coming out on August 29th!
- We had three “Life Groups” begin in September!
- We received our first partner checks from RiverGlen Church and Lakeland Church.
- We served a second time at the Oak Creek PopUp Beer Garden which produced good connections for some of our team. We also met several new families that live in Oak Creek (we also made $900 in tips for our launch fund)!
- We held our last Gathering in the Park on Sunday September 26th.
- We had an AWESOME Rally and Picnic event at the home of a launch community family.
- We made several significant startup purchases.
- We had nearly $30,000 in gently used gear donated to us by Lakepoint and Stateline Church!
- Southbrook Church in Franklin, WI formally became a financial partner!
Specific things to be praying for:
- Pray for several launch community members who are dealing with health issues, financial issues, work issues, house issues, and relationship issues. As we get closer to our launch, we expected issues to pop up. Pray that God would watch over and protect our community.
- Pray for the office space deal we are still trying to work out. Please pray that it can be finalized this week.
- Pray for the Commissioning Service at Lakepoint Church on October 3rd. We are excited to be prayed for and sent out by our host church.
- Pray for October 10 as we walk neighborhoods in Oak Creek with door-hangers sharing about Launch Sunday!
- Pray for our two practice dates on October 17 and October 24 – that we would be prepared and ready for October 31st.
- Pray for the planning and details of our Grand Opening and our first message series (Are We There Yet?) to come together just right.
