Hello 11|28 Prayer Partners!
Happy October 28th! Thank you for praying with us and for us on the 28th day and throughout the month. We really are so thankful for each of you.
Some things we are thankful for:
- There is a lot of interest and traction in the community right now about our Grand Opening on Sunday.
- The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel approached us and asked if they could do a story about our Grand Opening later this week. (we said yes!)
- We had an incredible send off from our host church, Lakepoint, on October 3rd.
- We were able to connect with several hundred families at a community trunk or treat.
- We were able to walk several neighborhoods and invite them to the Grand Opening.
- Our launch community is 70 strong and ready with “all hands on deck” for this weekend.
- We hired Riyan Littlefield to be our Kids and Family Ministry Director.
- We moved into an office and warehouse space that we can use 24/7.
- We’ve had two test runs at the Community Center that went really well.
- Our audio gear finally arrived after being delayed by customs for four weeks.
- The big one – we’ve made it too launch weekend!
Specific things to be praying for:
- Pray for our technology to work this weekend, specifically our TV screens.
- Pray for our first message series (Are We There Yet?)
- Pray that we have enough chairs for the amount of guests we’re now expecting.
- Pray that 11|28 Community is a different kind of church where hurt people feel like they have a safe place to heal and discover Jesus for themselves.
- Pray that we don’t ever forget God dreamed this church up a long time before we did.
