If we’re honest with ourselves, we’re longing for something this holiday. Maybe it’s physician healing, for yourself or maybe for someone you care about. You could be hoping for renewal in a broken relationship, a marriage on the rocks or even a strained friendship. You could desire a fresh start, a new job, less stress, financial freedom, or someone you can really trust. Maybe your hopes are for your kids, that they’d know Jesus, break family curses, and be people you’re proud to have raised. Maybe your hopes are bigger, for the state of our world, our cities and our neighbors.

The things humanity has longed for haven’t changed much over the centuries! Thankfully, God offers us comfort and peace through it all.
