Day 2: The Early Church’s Commitment (Acts 2:42)
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Reflection:
The early believers were devoted. Their commitment to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, sharing meals, and prayer built the foundation of a thriving Christian community. These four pillars represent how the church grows spiritually, relationally, and missionally.
Prayer:
Ask God to deepen your devotion to His Word, fellowship with others, and time spent in prayer. Invite Him to cultivate a community that grows in these key areas.
Action:
Reflect on one of these four aspects (teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer) and intentionally commit to it today. If possible, connect with someone for prayer or a meal to experience fellowship.
