HERE Devotional, Day 4
Day 4: Praise and Favor (Acts 2:46-47)
“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.”
Reflection:
The early church was marked by joy, unity, and praise. As they lived out their faith in community, God gave them favor with those around them. Their sincere hearts and joy drew others to the beauty of life in Christ.
Prayer:
Pray that God would give you a heart of joy and sincerity, both in your relationships within the church and with those outside it. Ask for favor with the people in your life who do not yet know Christ.
Action:
Invite someone to share a meal with you this week, whether a fellow believer or someone who doesn’t know Jesus. Use this time to foster genuine connection and to reflect the joy and sincerity that comes from knowing Christ.
