Back 2 School Baskets

Every year on Milwaukee’s northwest side there’s a very real need that goes unnoticed. As families get ready to head back to school they stock up on pens, pencils, backpacks, notebooks, markers, crayons, and all the regular back to school items. There are lots of amazing back to school drives and giveaways for families in need and we fully support those efforts.

However, our friends at Kingdom Church (launching in January 2026) understand their community and the needs that exist after that first day of school. Parents, Grandparents, and caregivers often spend all they have getting their kids back to school and are left scrambling to wash and clean the laundry that quickly piles up. Kingdom Church has decided to step in and do something a bit different, they want to meet this need with laundry baskets full of essentials.

When you give to the back to school baskets initiative, you’re helping to purchase and stock hundreds of laundry baskets going to families in need on Milwaukee’s northwest side. These baskets will have soap, softener sheets, and a roll of quarters to help families get by for those first few weeks after school starts up.
