OUR VERSE

'“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”'

Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

Our Mission

Help people DO LIFE DIFFERENT by setting rhythms and values with Jesus at the center.

Our Beliefs

FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT

There is one God, Creator of all things, holy, unendingly perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God has graciously purposed from eternity to redeem people for Himself and to make all things new for His own glory.

Genesis 1; John 1:1-3; Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 28:18-19

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, fully (100%) God and fully (100%) man. Jesus – the long-awaited Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament – was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived a perfectly sinless life, was murdered (willingly accepting the burden) on a cross, rose after three days, ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God as the chief Advocate for our salvation.

Matthew 1:18-25; 25:31-46; Hebrews 1:1-3 Philippians 2:5-8; Isaiah 53; Colossians 1:15

The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Trinity. Everything the Holy Spirit does glorifies God. The Spirit convicts the world of its guilt. The Spirit also indwells, illuminates, guides, equips and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.

Genesis 1:2; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Ephesians 3:2-5; John 16:13; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Matthew 28:18

SCRIPTURE

God spoke through human authors to create the Scriptures. As the inspired Word of God, the Bible is without error in the original writings, and is the full revelation of God’s will for salvation.
The Bible is the ultimate authority and influence of how we should think and live.

2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21

HUMANITY

Humanity is created in God’s image and showcases God’s creativity. All humanity inherits a natural tendency towards sin that causes them to continue to sin. Sin breaks connection with God and brings about wrath and judgment, selfishness and destructiveness, death, and condemnation to an eternity in hell.

Genesis 3:15-24; 6:5; Jeremiah 17:5,9; Romans 1:18-32; 3:9-18, 5:8, 12, 6:23; Genesis 1:26-27

SALVATION

Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for the sin of the world. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation.

Psalm 22; Isaiah 53:1-12; Acts 16:30-31; Romans 3:22-26; Galatians 3:10-14; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; Romans 5:8, 10:13, 10:17

THE CHURCH

The Church is made up of all those who have been justified by God’s grace through faith alone in Christ Jesus. The Church is united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ. The body of Christ is lived out in local churches, who are made up of believers. Jesus asks the church to regularly remember him through baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which visibly and tangibly express the Gospel.

Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 1:3-6

OUR RESPONSE & CHRISTIAN LIVING

God invites everyone, everywhere, to trust the good news through repentance and receiving the forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:15-16, Matthew 24:30–31; Romans 8:37-39

God asks us to love Him supremely and others sacrificially, and to live out our faith with care for one another with compassion toward the poor and justice for the oppressed. Simply put, we are to Love God and Love Others. In obedience to Christ’s commission, we are to make disciples, always living out the gospel in our words and actions.

Romans 12:1-2; 1 Peter 1:13-16; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Matthew 5:13-16, 28:19-20; Acts 10;42; 1 Timothy 4:12
