Baptism at the Park

Baptism is for anyone who has made a decision to have Jesus Christ be their Savior and Leader. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. Baptism represents the change that has taken place in someone when they decide to become a follower of Jesus Christ: they are dead to sin and made alive in Christ. In essence, it tells the story of this union with Christ.

Romans 6:3-4 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Baptism doesn’t make you a believer; it declares to those around you that you’re a believer.
