Hello Elementary Parents,

In March, the elementary students are learning about courage. When kids compare themselves to super heros or Bible heroes, they might feel small. However, we will first talk about what courage really is and learn about how God will empower all of us with bravery to face fears when we trust in God.

If you want to continue this conversation at home, pay attention to the questions that are posted outside the elementary classroom each week. Also, you can work through this Bible plan on YouVersion with your child(ren): What Would Courage Do?

Lastly, the kids will sing this month on March 24th, which is Palm Sunday. Have your children practice the Palm Sunday songs at home using our playlist.

God gives me courage to do what is right.

"Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.."

As your kid starts their day, ask them how the different parts of their body work together.

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “When did you and your friends work together for a goal?”
